Setting Up & Understanding Your Members Area

Credits Earned: This will show you the total amount of surfing credits earned. This is also the amount of times your website will be shown to members as they surf.

These Credits can come from a Variety of Sources:
  • Viewing other members websites
  • Referrals monthly surfing- % depends on your membership status
  • By purchasing credits from earnings or payment options
Credits Used: This is self explanatory, but means your site was viewed X amount of times.

Credits Left: This is how many views you have left. You can use these figures to plan your daily surfing or weekly credit purchases.

ReferralCredits: It's in 3 parts!

Part 1-The number you see is the bonus credits you earn, when referrals sign up and confirm their membership registration.

Part 2- Referral is a link to your referral statistics. Once you have referrals, you'll see that its color coded on 3 levels of referrals. Referrals with a line under their username are links, which means that they accept emails from their upline. You may contact them to promote surfing or the benefits of upgrading, but take extreme care, for Spam complaints can get your account suspended. This area will also show you when they joined, last surfed, and monthly surfing to date.

Part 3- Once your in the referral area- there is a link that you can use to send credits to your referrals on all 3 levels. A great promotional tool!

Impressions Earned: Impressions (Credits) are the amount of times your banner can be shown. Banners are shown throughout the Mystical Maze Website.

Impressions Used: Same as the above credits for your website

Impressions Left: Same as the above credits for your website

Codes:

Start Page Link- is your surfing page, where you will be viewing other members websites, and in turn will have yours shown. This is also where you will play the Maze! Click on this link to begin surfing.

You may save this link to your favorites or add it as your homepage. To add the surfing page to your favorites- click on the link, then click on your Favorites link at the top of your Internet Explorer page, then click (add to favorites). To make it your homepage click on the Tools link, Internet Options, then where it says Homepage, click use current, then Apply and Ok. Your all set, so the next time you open your IE browser, your start page will load!

Referral Page Link- is the link you will use to promote the Mystical Maze. It has your username attached to it, so you will receive credit when the person joins, and receive the residual surfing credits, and earnings if applicable.

You can use this link when surfing other exchanges, or add it to emails, safelists, etc.. I would suggest using a shortened url (cloaked) or a re-direct link, because people will sometimes join by taking out the referral name.

Edit User Info: In this section you will see your Username, Email Address, Password, Pause Account Check Box, and a check box for receiving emails from upline.

Pause Acct-When you sign up; the account is paused and email from upline is checked by default. You can change any of the above details, except for your Username. Once you have your members page set up you can check the NO to un-pause your account, and then click EDIT.

Upline Contact- Most Uplines will not contact you, but this is your choice, so if you don't want your email address to be accessible, then un-check the box and click EDIT. It's a nice feature to have, as you yourself can contact your referrals and offer assistance and promotional advice. If you feel they are spamming you with un-wanted sales opportunities, then you can report them to me. Simply un- checking this box may not stop emails, as they will have your email address. So far, no Spam issues have been reported! :-)

Log Out- Once your done with your changes in the members area, you can log out, but if you forget to, don't worry the system will time out automatically.

URL Settings: This is where you will be adding your Url's for the websites and banners, that you wish to advertise. The Url box is an Ad Free Rotator at no additional cost.

Basic steps in adding Web Site urls:
  1. Copy/Paste or type your site url into the box. Be sure to include the http://
  2. Click Save- then wait till your site is approved for frame breakers/banned urls. Take Note: How many pop-ups do you see? Are there any download boxes? The maximum amount of pop-ups I will allow are 2, and absolutely no downloads! * * It's better to check your links first, by pasting them into your IE Browser!
  3. Add another link- Repeat Steps
Basic steps in adding Banner urls:
  1. Ad Url: This is the url to the banner image, and where it's located on their server. Most businesses will provide this in an advertising or promotion section. It should star with (http:// ) and end with (.jpg or .gif or .bmp, etc.) Make sure not to add any html codes such as- (a href) ('' quotes") (a/) (< >) These are for using on a web site page. If thats the only way you see it given, then just use the url that is in between all that html code.
  2. Site Url: This is the same as the website url added in the url area. When someone clicks on the banner, this will take them to your website. After both url's are added, click SAVE, and it will say successful hopefully, then click the link to return and add another banner. You should now see the banner! If you don't or its split into two parts, then something was added incorrectly. You should check your banner by clicking on it to make sure it does what its supposed too. :-)
  3. Example of Html Code:
    <a href="http://www.mysticalmaze.com/index.php?referer=##USERNAME##"> <img src="http://www.mysticalmaze.com/images/banners/banner1.gif"></a>
This how it would look on a web page:
